Emack & Bolio`s in Peoria

Excellent place for for Ice Cream or Yogurt fans although the yogurt options at times are few.

It was our first time at this place and we were highly disappointed with the quality of ice cream and flavors offered. This one star is just for great customer service and hospitality.

Always an interesting selection of flavors to choose from - and even sweeter eye candy with the typically hot weather we have this time of the season. ;P***

Disappointing and good at the same time. I had a dish of Chocolate Addiction ice cream. The ice cream didn't have nearly enough chocolate flavor to be called Chocolate Addiction. It was bland. However, the chocolate chunks were quite good! They overshadows the ice cream itself which is unfortunate. The chocolate chunks reminded me of a chocolate dip, rich and a bit fudgy. They also melted well in an ice cream cold mouth not turning into chewing gum as some ice cream chocolate chunks do. I gave three start because I only had the one flavor and it might have been a batch that someone missed an ingredient or measured? I am willing to try again but I don't live in the area. I would say, go, try it for yourself. Maybe I'm just spoiled by having grown to love Handel's Homemade Ice Cream in Ohio?

I like that they have vegan ice cream but it is way over priced

Friendly small town neighborhood ice cream shop with a good vibe. Seating inside so you can even eat icecream when it’s cold! Clean, tasty and fast! Love the customer service. Great variety of cones and flavors. I had the peanut butter Oreo in a sugar cone and my mother had the turtle caramel... They were both delicious! Pricing not too bad.

Totally legit ice cream! Probly some of the best I've ever had. Only suggestion, you need to have more than one person working on a sunny Sunday.

There ice cream is so good and customer service is great. My friend came to Peoria from TX for a day and really wanted her favorite ice cream from Emack&Bolio's. The ice cream still wasn't available for sale but was already at the shop. The girl who worked there went out of her way to make sure my friend had her ice cream and were not disappointed. Good people, good ice cream!

Home made hot fudge and specialty cones are on point!

Great Ice great service. Not the cheap fake Dairy Queen ice cream this stuff is yummy. N the people behind the counter were friendly and just happy to be there. They even invented a cut out hole n a cup for my sons ice cream cone so it didn’t drip on him right before our eyes. :)

It was ok. Not my style, retro 60s sort of. My friend said her coffee ice cream didnt have much flavor, but my other friend liked hers.

My husband and I think this is the best ice cream and sorbet in town. We come about once a week, even in the wintertime. The service is great-we love that you can try the ice cream before you buy. The peach ice cream is my favorite, as it has real pieces of fruit in it. You really can't go wrong with any of the flavors, though. And, great hot fudge for sundaes.

I love their liquid yoga... banana, chai, ice cream... mmmm... banana splits are good. The egg creams remind us of Gateys in chicago

Amazing!! In search of some good ice cream after a long day at work, I saw the good reviews and decided to come here. I had 2 scoops of peanut butter and Oreo. It was so good! It tasted just like the ice cream we made as kids. Nothing special, just good quality. I like my ice cream thick and hard, and this met my expectations. I got it to go, and after a 5 minute drive home, it was hardly melting. They also have other desserts, like chocolate-covered treats. I love white chocolate, so I bought one piece of almond bark, and it was good. I will definitely return and plan to bring my family when they come to visit!

This place is a fun family owned place. It’s a small business so you feel good supporting them and it’s so dang cute! The ice cream is bomb and don’t get me started on the smoothies, they’re to die for. The area in Peoria heights has so much to do from restaurants, coffee shops, and pottery painting places. The heights tower area is so fun!

Great place for some original icecream flavors. I would rate this place 5 star if it weren't for having tried out their different chocolate bars... They were a bit stale that day. I have been in other times but have always went for the icecream so don't know if that time was an offshoot or not. Either way if you like icecream it's definitely a place to stop by and try.

Emack and Bolio's is some of the best Ice Cream in the area! My go to flavor is Beantown Buzz. So yummy! I adore the small mom and pop shop kinda vibe. Super cute location and setting! This is a place that I seek out for a couple scoops! Nothing else quite compares!

A fantastic family owned business that exzooms specialty shop charm. Best part is their treats hit the calorie counter do hard and fast it loops all the way back to zero! Totally worth blowing your diet for this stop!

This is the place to go in Peoria for great ice cream. It's the perfect place to meet friends. Or, a fun date night stop. The ice cream flavors alone are over the top. But, I'd encourage you to add a topping for a sundae that's perfect for sharing. They also have a nice selection of craft sodas.

This lovely ladie named Katrina served me!! She was kind and polite and quick with getting my order. The environment is very chill and the owners are always kind and inviting. Nxt time you get that sweet tooth go check them out!!!

Great ice cream and the chocolate bowls are a bonus! We tried the cake batter ice cream and loved it! A little different from a traditional cake batter ice cream.

My brother and I were recommended to try E&B after asking a local Peorian for a decent ice cream shop. ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. We went right before closing, and it's a small shop run by a very kind man. The service was amazing, and so were the ice cream flavors (original, too!) I'm definitely planning on going back before I leave! :)

Expensive! But good. Also have a variety of fancy bowls and cones to choose from.
